Surge in momentum

People across Long Island are energized to take back our country. They are demonstrating their resolve through peaceful assembly. What could be more patriotic than that?

I was so thrilled on Wednesday to join my Southampton friends and neighbors at the Keep Families Together March in Sag Harbor. What an inspiring display!

America is great because we have a First Amendment right to criticize the government. And, boy, are people exercising that right when it comes to the Trump administration and Lee Zeldin.

Everyday people who value decency and compassion are becoming grassroots activists. We are speaking up, speaking out.

In that spirit, I want to thank the over 1,300 people who have chipped into this campaign over the last week as part of the Let's Veto Lee Zeldin grassroots movement. You are giving voice to our shared values, to taking back our country.

We can flip the House. I've never felt more certain of that. We can win back a majority for Medicare For All, for banning assault weapons and protecting our communities from gun violence, for protecting our environment, for equal rights for all Americans, and for humane immigration reform.

Pitch in today. Support our fight for high-paying jobs, affordable health care, high-quality education, and clean air and water.
