Surprise, surprise. Zeldin and Trump, together again

Lost in the headlines of the investigation and cover-up of corruption in Donald Trump's White House, the House continues to pass real legislation.

Newly-elected Democrats have ushered through legislation geared to keep the U.S. in the Paris Agreement. This bold rebuke of Trump is the first true environmental legislation passed in 10 years, and real progress towards taking action against climate change.

Long Island and the New York 1st, however, could still do better. Much better. Why?

Lee Zeldin.

Zeldin continues to side with the polluters, big oil, and big coal. And, surprise, surprise, he was lockstep with Trump, opposing this responsible effort, too. Never mind the fact that Long Island is incredibly susceptible to climate change.

Our families are counting on our member of Congress to have our interests at heart. Lee Zeldin does not.

We must do better – that is among my major reasons for running to replace Zeldin in 2020.

For 25 years, I have been a common-sense businessman — not a career politician — so I look at things differently. I know about fixing dysfunction. It starts with hard work, a commitment to results, and perseverance — not scoring cheap political points. We can work together to provide opportunity and create an economy that works for all of us.
