Ask me a question for my next virtual town hall:

On Monday at 7 p.m., I'm hosting a Facebook Live virtual Town Hall to talk about the coronavirus pandemic that's gripping our community, our state, and our nation.

The big news: I will be joined by local elected officials, and three public health experts:

Dr. William Schaffner - Professor of Preventive Medicine, and the Division of Infectious Diseases, Vanderbilt: Dr. Schaffner is a nationally renowned infectious disease and public health specialist at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, frequently working with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). He often is invited to comment in local and national media on communicable disease issues, translating research advances and public health events into language that the public can understand.

Dr. Robyn Gershon - Clinical Professor of Epidemiology, NYU School of Public Health: Dr. Gershon is an interdisciplinary occupational and environmental health and safety researcher with extensive experience in the areas of disaster preparedness, healthcare safety, and risk assessment and management in high-risk work occupations. Dr. Gershon and her team conducted numerous groundbreaking studies to develop and test new metrics of preparedness.

Dr. Todd Kerwin - Director, Coronary Care Unit-WUH: Dr. Kerwin is working on the front lines treating Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients. A clinical associate professor at Winthrop University Hospital, he specializes in cardiovascular diseases, including coronary disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and hypertension. Dr. Kerwin has first-hand experience working with COVID-19 patients suffering advanced progression of the viral infection.

The Town Hall will be LIVE online from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, so please mark your calendars. You may access details for participation at

Before then, I'd love to hear from you — what questions do you have for our experts? What do you want to see addressed at the town hall?

Ask a question by filling out this form at Or reply to this email, or ask live during the event itself.

See you then.

For 25 years, I have been a common-sense businessman — not a career politician — so I look at things differently. I know about fixing dysfunction. It starts with hard work, a commitment to results, and perseverance — not scoring cheap political points. We can work together to provide opportunity and create an economy that works for all of us.
