They sure are worried about me

When do you know you're striking a nerve? When the other team starts to punch back.

Over the weekend, Lee Zeldin hung out at Camp David with President Trump. That's his reward for his undying loyalty to this president, buttering him up and raising money for him.

I'm not afraid to call it out for what it is: unacceptable behavior that undermines the critical protections of our democracy. I've said it many times. Now it seems that Zeldin's and Trump's friends are punching back.

A right-wing publication called the Free Beacon has taken to parroting Zeldin's attacks on me. What is the Free Beacon? Funded by a right-wing hedge fund billionaire and run by a one-time strategist for the Koch Brothers, it has been called "decadent and unethical" and part of "the 'smear wing' of the conservative movement" (The Atlantic).

How do you know which candidate they're most worried about? The one that they're trying to take down. That's me.

I'm not afraid to take on Donald Trump. I'm not afraid to take on Lee Zeldin. And I'm definitely not afraid of some right-wing website and its billionaire funder.

There are 10 days left this month. We've set our final pre-primary end-of-month goal at 250 grassroots donations. We're at 161 so far. We can get this done.

Will you chip in $15 right now and help us finish the month strong?

For 25 years, I have been a common-sense businessman — not a career politician — so I look at things differently. I know about fixing dysfunction. It starts with hard work, a commitment to results, and perseverance — not scoring cheap political points. We can work together to provide opportunity and create an economy that works for all of us.
